TNS returns to its roots with rebrand

TNS has rebranded as ‘TNS – The New Standard, catering with honesty and integrity’.

TNS has rebranded as ‘TNS – The New Standard, catering with honesty and integrity’. The proudly independent caterer says the move is a natural progression, coming as a result of 15 years of sustainable growth.

The company, co-founded by chefs Tim Smith and Phil Tyas – both of whom still head up the business – now has a brand new look that will be underpinned by a comprehensive nine-point charter based on the founding principles set out by the pair in 2003. The new charter encompasses every part of the organisation, from sustainable practice and health and wellness-focused menu development through to staff engagement and adding value to clients’ businesses.

Smith said: “Since 2003 we have built a reputation for putting our unique stamp on every contract – doing the right thing – valuing relationships, quality and service above simply making a quick buck. This ethos has won us many plaudits and admirers and, as we continue to grow, it’s crucial our people know they are on this journey with us, all the while reassuring our clients that we are the same honest, approachable business we always have been.

“The repositioning and development of the pledge builds on this promise – clearly setting out the tenets upon which our business is built and the ways in which we vow to continue its evolution.”
