Essential Cuisine increases charity activities

Essential Cuisine has published a blog post detailing some of the charitable activities it was involved in in the lead-up to Christmas. The company has always made donations to charities that make a real difference, but this year it has taken this a step further. Not only has Essential Cuisine made donations, its team also went above and beyond by donating their time and the business’s products to several important causes.

In November, account manager Andrew Rogerson went out on the road with Harrogate Food Angels during National Meals on Wheels Week, delivering food to vulnerable individuals who were restricted to their own homes. For the first time ever, Harrogate Food Angels also delivered Christmas dinners to the elderly and Rogerson joined them.

Other activities included gifting products to Winter Warmers, to provide healthy meals for children in need over the Christmas holidays, and putting together a fantastic festive food bundle to give to a local food bank. Since April, the team have donated six boxes in total.
