14forty seals Solvay deal

14forty has won a three-year contract to provide cleaning, security and managed services at a Solvay chemical plant in Warrington. The agreement is in addition to the catering service that Compass already provides on-site via sister brand Eurest.

Solvay is a global business with almost 100 sites and 22,000 employees spread over 61 countries. It produces an enormous range of materials, chemicals and solutions for industries such as aerospace and healthcare. 

Mauro Ortelli, managing director of 14forty, said: “We are delighted to win this contract, extending our already successful relationship. Our teams have done a great job of setting up so far and embedding our people within the contract.” 

Richard Tarver, plant manager for Solvay Interox, added: “14forty came to us with a clear plan to address our challenges and what’s more, mobilised and took over the contract in just 30 days at our request. The service has been diligent, professional and of an impeccably high standard.”
