Grazing wins Virgin contract

Grazing has won a three-year contract to oversee the catering at Virgin Group’s new London headquarters.

Grazing has won a three-year contract to oversee the catering at Virgin Group’s new London headquarters. Virgin’s 400 team members moved into the new four-storey, 24,000sq ft office at Whitfield Studios, a former recording studio in Soho, earlier this month.

Grazing has been chosen to provide all catering services in the building, including the staff dining, events, hospitality and pantry provision. The business’s contract tender process focused on sustainability, with 90% of its deliveries being done via zero-emissions cargo bikes.

'Alignment of values'
Sam Hurst, chief executive officer, of Grazing, said: “Sustainability has been a priority for Virgin throughout the design, build and procurement of the new office, and the team felt there was an alignment of values between the two businesses and appreciated our flexible business model. We look forward to building a great working relationship with them over the coming years.”

The contract is Grazing’s latest in a year that has seen a 30% growth in business, a 50% increase in capacity of its central production unit and its recent acquisition by Restaurant Associates.
