Jones in at ESS

ESS has welcomed Richard Jones as managing director for its government business. He will take responsibility for the strategic direction and service delivery across ESS government, which provides a range of catering and facilities management services to high-profile clients within central government, police and secure environments.

Jones joins from Sodexo where he has spent the past 13 years in a number of senior project and operational roles, most recently leading high-profile government contracts delivering catering and FM services. Prior to this he spent 22 years in the British Army, where he rose through the ranks and held a series of key leadership appointments across a range of strategic and operational roles, both in the UK and overseas.
