Best ever ‘Green’ cup from Booker

Booker is pleased to launch its most sustainable cup. The cup is recyclable, compostable and biodegradable and is a first in the UK. What makes this cup different is the lining as it is fully biodegradable and breaks down within 90 days in a compostable environment, whereas other cups could take many years. The cup is available in 12oz and 8oz and costs 10p for 12oz and 8p for 8oz.

“Sustainability is becoming more and more important to both our customers and their consumers,” said Stuart Hyslop, Managing Director – Catering & Small Business. “This is the most sustainable cup Booker has sold and is a first in the UK. We are keeping the price low to drive distribution. The cup will be available in Booker and Makro branches nationwide from mid-October.”
