New culinary director for Levy

Levy UK + Ireland recently announced the appointment of Leonard Fearon to the newly created role of culinary director, Levy Ireland. He will continue to ensure the smooth running of all Fitzers Catering Powered by Levy venues, as well as all other Levy Ireland ones, while also driving forward objectives such as menu innovation, food sustainability, health and safety standards, and talent development.

Fearon was previously the executive chef at Convention Centre Dublin, a Fitzers Catering Powered by Levy venue. His appointment follows the announcement earlier this year that Levy UK + Ireland was to combine its Irish business with Fitzers Catering, the Irish family-owned catering company.

“The role will provide me with the opportunity to continue my deep commitment to the delivery of excellent food, innovation, creative menus and presentation,” said Fearon.” I hope to use it to promote more diverse use of ingredients, upcycling of food, and work with our farmers and suppliers to incorporate more biodiversity and lower impact foods on our menus.”

“This is a great achievement for Leonard, who has shown unwavering commitment to the business, and who continues to bring world-class culinary expertise to all of our clients and venues each and every day,” said Barry Storey, managing director of Fitzers Catering Powered by Levy. “He will no doubt lift our culinary expertise to even greater levels now that we are part of the wider Levy UK + Ireland business.”
