SSP launches in 37th market

SSP Group is set to enter its 37th market, working with Italian rail station operator Grandi Stationi. Leon,  Yo!, EXKi and Granaio will all open at Rome Termini Station in October 2023.

Jeremy Fennell, chief executive officer of continental Europe and Nordics for SSP, said: “We have a strong track record in bringing great brands to travel locations and making them relevant to the local market. We’re certain this is the start of a very fruitful business venture as we take our first steps in this important European market.”

Sebastien De Rose, chief operating officer at Grandi Stazioni Retail, added: “The arrival of SSP in Italy at Rome Termini Station demonstrates the attractiveness and the value of our stations for big international brands. For our visitors, moreover, it is a chance to know the new trends of foreign cuisine.”
