Cheshire named Young Restaurant Team of the Year

Cheshire College South and West won the coveted title of UK Young Restaurant Team of the Year 2023 at the recent Skills for Chefs event. The award was presented at a glittering awards dinner hosted event by chair of judges and director of MSK Ingredients, Vicky Enderson .
The winning team consisted of Olivia James, Amy Phillips and Luke Smith, who created and served a Nordic-themed menu with wines and cocktails to four guests and a panel of industry judges. The other finalists were Loughborough College, Sheffield College, North Warwickshire and South Leicester College, and Eastleigh College.
The winners will embark on a study tour of Belgium later this year. They will visit Michelin-starred restaurants, chocolatiers and a Belgian brewery.
