Last chance to enter the StrEATfood Awards!

Calling all chefs - it is your last chance to enter our sixth annual StrEATfood Awards! Contract catering chefs – from across all foodservice sectors, as well as events – have until tomorrow (9th August) to enter the culinary cook-off, which will be held at Big Penny Social in north London on 10th October.

The event will see the 16 chefs compete in a series of culinary challenges. They will be tasked with recreating their signature dishes for our panel of expert judges, with the winner taking home the prized Street Food Dish of the Year title. They will also compete in a technical round using products supplied on the day.

If you want to be among the 16, simply submit your signature street food dish at www.streatfoodawards.co.uk. The shortlist will then be selected by our panel of experts.

Eliot Hilton of Houston and Hawkes, who won Streat Food Dish of the Year in 2022 for his dish above, told us: "I would 100% encourage people to compete. Before I did this, I was terrified, but that is only a good thing. I would encourage anyone who is also terrified to just sign up and do it!"
