Grazing appoints first chef director

The delivered-in office and venue catering specialist Grazing has promoted Sebastian Price to the position of chef director, a new role for the business.

The move will see him take on more responsibility for the caterer’s wider operations outside of the kitchen, extending his reach to front-of-house, which will include recruitment, team training, service, operations and logistics. As well as supporting the company’s chefs in designing menus for Grazing’s clients, he will also oversee the entire delivered-in catering service at client sites.

Price joined Grazing last year as executive chef. He was formerly executive chef of Food+ by Compass, based at Google’s headquarters in London. He has previously worked as executive head chef for Sodexo's Publicis White City site, and as development and executive chef for BaxterStorey's south and south-west region.

Sam Hurst, chief grazing officer of Grazing, said: “Seb has played a pivotal role in the development of our offer and we wanted to recognise this through the introduction of our first ever chef director role. This role also means we are able to build more strength in depth for our team, positioning us well for further growth.”
