Gastronomes Award opens for entries
The industry body is believed to be the oldest culinary organisation in the UK.
A priceless opportunity for mentoring by senior members of the hospitality industry; the chance to attend Réunion des Gastronome events; a range of bespoke industry-based development experiences; two year’s complimentary associate membership of the organisation. These are the prizes on offer to the winner of the 2024 Gastronomes Award, which has now opened for entries.
Not only that but all of the finalists will receive complimentary associate membership for two years and an invitation to attend the Gastronome’s annual Grouse Supper on 16th September prior to the judging panel’s final decision. They will also receive an invitation for them (and a guest) to attend the 105thAnnual Banquet at the House of Lords on 15th November, when the winner will be announced.
The industry body, which is believed to be the oldest culinary organisation in the UK, has members from many sectors of the hospitality industry. These include hotels, clubs, caterers, sports stadia, universities, event companies and consultants.
How to enter
It is easy to enter. All that is required is completion of a written application form by the applicant, submission of a current curriculum vita, a couple of additional endorsements and written responses to four simple questions.
The award is open to anyone working full-time at a team management level or above in food and beverage services in the hospitality industry in the UK. The closing date for applications is 2nd August. Go to gastronomes.org/awards for more info or to enter.
