Talkington Bates receives B Corp certification
B Corp status is certified by the non-profit organisation B Lab.
Talkington Bates recently announced its certification as a B Corporation (B Corp). It joins the only two other catering contractors in the UK to have the designation, Houston and Hawkes and Leeming Pilkington.
B Corp status is certified by the non-profit organisation B Lab, ensuring that companies meet social sustainability and environmental performance standards across all areas of their businesses. Alongside this certification, the caterer was also recently announced as one of The Times Best Places to Work 2024.
'Thinking differently'
Paul Bates, co-founder of Talkington Bates, said: “As a privately-owned caterer, this process was especially long and challenging, but it also led us to think differently about how we operate. B Corp Certification, along with our quality management certifications and recognition from The Times, have all helped us show how our transparent progressive environmental and social work are at the heart of everything we do.”
