PureOaty Barista receives low carbon rating

Glebe Farm Foods has announced the latest carbon reporting results for PureOaty Barista.

Glebe Farm Foods has announced the latest carbon reporting results for PureOaty Barista, which the company believes demonstrates the award-winning oat drink has the lowest carbon footprint on the UK market. The results, analysed and produced by environmental impact assessment organisation My Emissions, form part of Glebe Farm Foods’ wider mission to become net zero by 2028.

From the latest assessment, PureOaty Barista is breaking its previous records. With a score of just 0.268kgCO2e per litre, its carbon footprint is now around half of the average oat milk available in the UK (0.576 kgCO2e/litre), as well as being 78% lower than traditional dairy milk (1.201 kgCO2e/litre).

'Fantastic milestone'
Philip Rayner, managing director of Glebe Farm Foods, said: “This fantastic milestone not only sets PureOaty Barista apart as a market-leading product, but also demonstrates our dedication to reducing environmental impact in every aspect of our production. We’re always looking at how we can evolve and do better, and through our partnership with My Emissions, we’ll continue to track and improve our operations to ensure we reach our net zero target by 2028.”
