Lexington secures LBS contract extension

The agreement, which has been in place since 2009, will be extended for a further five years.

Lexington Catering recently announced that it has successfully retained its contract with London Business School (LBS) following a full competitive tender. The agreement, which has been in place since 2009, will be extended for a further five years from 1st January 2025.

Since the beginning of the partnership, Lexington's team has maintained a close relationship with LBS, regularly visiting and engaging with key stakeholders. This has allowed the caterer to fully understand the needs of the school’s 2,000+ students and integrate them into its overarching strategy, aligning with the company's focus on people and culture.

The contract is valued at £29m
Matt Wood, managing director of Lexington, said: “Over the last 15 years, we have worked closely with the school to deliver a service that is highly bespoke, meeting the diverse needs of its international community. Our team is committed to supporting LBS through its next phase of growth, delivering innovative food and service solutions that support the school community.”

The contract is valued at £29m over the five-year term. Lexington will continue to provide retail, hospitality, executive dining and events services, all supported by a dedicated team of more than 80 culinary and service professionals.
