Wilson Vale signs up with Cambridge Utd

Wilson Vale has been chosen as Cambridge Utd’s catering partner, operating all matchday and non-matchday catering and events at the stadium from August 2021. The scope of the contract includes providing player feeding; matchday fan feeding for the 8,000 capacity Abbey Stadium; first class matchday hospitality for the club’s Signature Suite and Executive lounge; and event catering.

The caterer is joining the Us at a very exciting time, as the club was promoted to League One earlier this year. Wilson Vale will offer new innovative ways of improving the experience of every fan and visitor accordingly, with seasonal and locally-inspired food concepts.

David Anderson, Wilson Vale operations director, said: “This is our first contract gained in stadia catering, which gives us an opportunity to apply our knowledge and the talents of our colleagues in an exciting new sector. With our core ethos being firmly fixed on serving fresh, seasonal and local produce, we instantly had a synergy with the values and ambitions of Cambridge United, and we very much look forward to adding value to all aspects of the catering at the Abbey Stadium.”
