Quorn launches cost crunching offers

Quorn Professionals is launching an inflation-busting range of initiatives to help hospitality overcome rising costs. Cost Crunchers has three main pillars: Innovation, Prices that stack up and Let’s meat halfway.

First, the company is launching the very competitively priced Quorn Veggie Beef Burger (113g). The move makes it easier and more cost efficient for operators to add delicious meat-free burgers, that don’t compromise on taste or quality, to their menus. It has a recommended supplier price of less than a £1 per burger.

Also, with prices rising everywhere and margins being squeezed, the company is freezing its prices. Not only that, but it’s also introducing 50% extra free packs on Quorn Mince and Quorn Vegan Beef Pieces.

Thirdly, Quorn’s 50:50 approach is inspiring operators with tasty, healthy, low-carbon dishes that save money and the planet. People still want to eat more sustainably and reducing their meat intake is the easiest way. Quorn’s culinary team has created a range of recipes that have been nutritionally analysed, carbon footprinted and are ready to help caterers save money.

Phil Thornborrow, foodservice director for Quorn, said: “We are incredibly proud to have created a range of initiatives in Cost Cruncher that we believe provide excellent value and incredible taste. This means caterers do not need to compromise on quality, affordability, health or helping the planet.”
