Freemans and Delaware devise new all-American menus
The Major League Baseball World Tour London Series returns to the London Stadium next month.
The Major League Baseball (MLB) World Tour London Series returns to the London Stadium next month, with the Philadelphia Phillies taking on the New York Mets. Accordingly, Freemans Event Partners and Delaware North have devised a new menu featuring dishes synonymous with both cities.
The Philies’ Fan Zone will be home to the Phanatic Phried Chicken outlet serving dishes including the Classic American – a waffle cone loaded with southern-fried chicken tenders, creamy mac and cheese, hot sauce and barbecue sauce. Meanwhile, the classic gameday staple, the Philly Cheese Steak Sub, will be available in the main concourse from the American Street Food outlet.
Over in the Mets Fan Zone, the Empire State Burger and Shea Fried Chicken outlets will be serving up classic burger and hotdog options. The Bacon Cheeseburger will feature a 100% beef patty topped with streaky bacon, American cheese, crispy onions and tangy pickles.
Stephen Freeman, chief executive officer of Freemans Event Partners, said: “The MLB World Tour London Series is one of the most exciting events of the year because it gives us the opportunity to work on some really fun and exciting bespoke menus and bring the full American stadium experience to the UK. Our long-standing relationship with Delaware North enables us to continue to pitch these all-American menus to fans, and we look forward to hitting another home run when the action gets underway.”
