Nuffield Health has chosen to retain Sodexo UK and Ireland for its food services for an additional five years from 2028. This agreement follows a five-year contract extension that was awarded in 2023.
The partnership already spans 17 years, during which the caterer has delivered patient and staff dining across all 37 Nuffield Health hospitals. With an annual contract value of £19m, this renewal reinforces Sodexo's commitment to delivering tasty and nutritious meals, and supporting the healthcare charity's mission to build a healthier, stronger nation.

David Beresford, chief commercial officer of Nuffield Health, added: “From incorporating more sustainable ingredients and plant-based alternatives to reducing food waste by using every part of our ingredients, Sodexo has been an enthusiastic partner on our sustainability journey. Together, we are taking significant steps to advance our shared vision of creating a healthier nation.”
