BM raises £50,000 for Ukraine
BM recently raised almost £50,000 in aid of the Order of St George’s work in Ukraine through its second fundraising event. Funds raised will help provide medical equipment such as tourniquets and basic medical training for those on the frontline.
The Golden Hearts Gala Dinner, held at Hogan Lovells in London, saw people from across the sector come together to help raise much needed funds for those impacted by the war. A panel of BM’s Ukrainian team members were invited to tell their stories and share their hopes for the future, which was followed by a charity auction.
Angus Brydon, managing director of BM, said: “Through our efforts, we can make a difference in so many lives. The funds we raised will once again provide vital medical equipment and training for the citizens of Ukraine.
“One year on from our last event, which raised in excess of £40,000, we have our own Ukraine family members, and this really means so much more to all of us.”
