Delaware delivers Swift-specific menu

Wembley Stadium recently welcomed Taylor Swift back for a further five performances to wrap up her European tour. Following three sold-out shows earlier in the summer, Delaware North built on the success of its food and beverage offer to further enhance the guest experience across the venue.

“We are really looking forward to hosting Taylor Swift again at Wembley,” said Lewis Blake, head of concessions for Delaware North at the stadium. “We launched an exclusive menu inspired by Taylor and her music in June, and now we’re ready to unveil new additions paying homage to her last visit to the UK.”

Curated chicken shawarma
Swift previously ordered over £450 worth of kebabs from her favourite takeaway in London. As a nod to her love for the dish, the Delaware North team curated a chicken shawarma skewer with cucumber and tomato salad, pink garlic aioli, chilli mayo and house slaw on fresh flatbread.

“At Delaware North, we want guests’ experiences to be as immersive as possible,” Blake added. “We understand the importance of the full experience and know that it’s not just the music, it is the complete occasion.”

Also making a comeback were some popular menu items launched in June. These included Chicken, Chips and Seemingly Ranch, which were inspired by Swift’s visits to NFL games in the US; and the Peri-Peri Chicken Burger, by her love for Nando’s.

These shows mark the end of a huge summer of music at Wembley Stadium, with performances from Green Day, AC/DC, Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band, and popular artists at the Capital Summertime Ball drawing in over a million fans.
