Ricky ‘The Hitman’ Hatton marked a major hospitality milestone during the recent Joshua v Dubois heavyweight title showdown at Wembley. The multi-title boxing champion was invited by Delaware North to its executive box, where he was honoured as its landmark 190,000th hospitality guest of 2024.

This summer, major events such as Taylor Swift’s concerts, the Champions League final and the IBF World Heavyweight title fight have made it one of Delaware North’s most successful periods at Wembley. Thousands of guests have enjoyed the hospitality experience, with over 340,000 pints having been sold this summer alone.

'Milestone hospitality guest'
Hatton said: “I had an amazing time with the Delaware North team and was honoured to be their milestone hospitality guest. It’s definitely better being in the box enjoying the service than being in the ring, that’s for sure!”

Marco Galer-Reick, vice president of Delaware North, added: “This summer has been record-breaking for Delaware North, not just in terms of guests but also in redefining what hospitality at a world-class stadium looks like. Our goal is always the same, whether in general admission or full hospitality: to deliver unforgettable experiences and help people create memories that last a lifetime.”

Delaware North says that the increased demand for VIP experiences at Wembley mirrors a nationwide trend, where stadium hospitality packages are growing in popularity, providing fans with unique, high-end experiences that extend beyond the game or concert. Looking ahead to 2025, Wembley will welcome blockbuster concerts from Coldplay, Dua Lipa and Oasis.
